2016 Demonstration Orientation & Discussions (Day 3)

A discussion on symbols of genocide. Sign-making to follow. Discussion is open to the public.This event is in Lorain County.

Sundance (Muskogee) will facilitate the meeting. He is the Executive Director of Cleveland American Indian Movement. His background includes changing the Oberlin (Ohio) mascot in 2006 and organizing the Opening Day Demonstration at Cleveland Baseball since 2007.

A discussion and showing of "Wahoo Nothings Sacred" movie (107 mins.), in preparation for the Opening Day Demonstration, from 3 P.M to 4:30 P.M. Discussion is open to the public and a copy given to all participants.

Robert Roche, who has been involved with this cause since 1971, will facilitate the meeting. His background includes the original lawsuit in 1972, and a plaintiff in the 1995 lawsuit against Gateway Corporation.

2013 Opening Day Demonstration Orientation — Lorain County

If are unfamiliar with our demonstration, our arguments or what we trying to accomplish — or simply wish to help us prepare — this is a good place to start! We will have sign-making material available, so you can voice your own opinions as well.

This event is one of two scheduled Orientation Sessions. The other Orientation Session is in Cuyahoga County. You are welcome to attend either (or both!) regardless of your location.

This event will take the place of our regular Lorain County meeting. Please feel free to bring a dish to share.
