FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 31, 2017

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The American Indian Education Center (AIEC) acknowledges the unfortunate and misguided indictment of our former Executive Director and Co-Founder, Robert Roche (Chiricahua Apache). Mr. Roche has dedicated over 40 years of his life helping the Native American people through the provision of social services, community support, and socio-political activism.

Last Reading of Oberlin Indigenous Peoples' Day Resolution

Come and show your support for Indigenous Peoples' Day as Oberlin City Council prepares to become the first city in Ohio to adopt this holiday. This is the third and final reading of the resolution to adopt; the previous two readings passed unanimously so we anticipate that this resolution will indeed pass. A strong showing of support from indigenous people will be welcome.
