Critical Issues in Indigenism (September 2016)

An ongoing educational series which examines issues of importance to and about indigenous peoples throughout the Americas. We meet one Saturday each month.

Continuing from last month, we will examine indigenous self-determination of the Zapoteca and Maya in southwestern Mexico (Oaxaca, Guerrero and Chiapas). A movie will be shown, followed by discussion.
